Andreas Sommer holds a Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg since 2000. From 2000 to 2003, he worked as an Electronics Developer at Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY on some high speed electronics for measurements on the HERA accelerator ring. Subsequently, he served as an Electronics Developer, Project Manager and Systems Engineer at WEINMANN Emergency Medical Technology from 2003 to 2015, designing modern emergency ventilators and defibrillators. He then advanced to Head of Systems Engineering, a position he held until 2020. Since January 2021, Andreas Sommer has been the Head of Research and Development at WEINMANN, managing innovative projects, technological advancements, processes and resources.
